Q&A
Get to know me a little bit more

Who do I admire and aspire to be like?
Growing up I have always been attracted to Taylor Swift’s songs/ albums and her style of music. I love country and pop, so her music is perfect for me really. I love the fact that her music is so raw, emotional and about things she has encountered and felt in her life. Like Taylor Swift I am most inspired when I am emotional, and my songs are created from the thoughts and feelings I have towards different situations and experiences I have encountered. In the future I would love for my music to be as influential as Taylor’s and have the ability to create performances and shows like hers because they are absolutely amazing!
What music do I typically play and create?
I love to sing pop and country songs, but I also love to perform musical theatres tunes. When I am writing songs I like to do it acoustically and this reflects in the style of music I end up creating. My songs are usually quite emotional and always have some sort of story attached to them.
What inspires my music?
The biggest inspiration for my music is my life and my emotions/ feelings. I use song writing like a diary entry, so my lyrics are always quite raw and honest. I like to use my life experiences positive and negative ones to create my songs because to me I feel like there needs to be an emotional connection for the song to feel right.
What Makes me laugh?
All I can say is thank you to the TikTok creators! Without TikTok, I would not get my daily fix of funny fails, accidents or just random videos that end up being hilarious! I also find myself laughing at Instagram reels as you never know what is going to come up on your feed, and quite often they are fail videos, such as people slipping on ice etc. I find Modern Family absolutely hilarious! I grew up watching the show and Ive never laughed at a show more than I have when watching this (to the point where my stomach and cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much!) A film that I quote at least 3 times a week that is sure to make me laugh is Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Although I’m still looking for my Robbie, this film never fails to put a smile on my face whilst I also jam out to the incredible soundtrack (Ultraviolet besties where are you at!?)
If not music, what would I see myself doing?
In all honesty trying to have a career in music was never my biggest aspiration. I have always been interested in fashion and I am a big magazine reader (I have collected vogue magazines since I was about 10!) and my dream was always to be a fashion designer. I have always been quite creative and designing clothes what I loved doing however, it was music that has ended up been more beneficial and influential for me and that is ultimately what I would love to do as a career. Although, if a career in the music industry doesn’t work out I will definitely be trying to get a job at Vogue magazine or at a fashion label as a designer.
Good girl or Bad girl?
Am I a good girl or a bad girl? Well, I’ll let you answer that one. I may look like an angel on the outside but as Taylor Swift said herself, ‘darling I’m a nightmare dressed like a daydream.’ I do find myself in cheeky scenarios especially when it comes to playing jokes on my friends and family and for sometimes lacking the ability to speak English (I once said that I could see Justin Bieber’s ‘balls of sweat’ instead of beads after admiring him at the Jingle Bell Ball!), my family often joke that they could write a book on the words and phrases I come out with and sometimes they need a dictionary just to understand what I’m saying! Deep down I always aim for the highest and tried to do the best at all times, even though this causes trouble in itself!
What's next for me?
To be completely honest, I am not entirely sure. I am graduating from my music performance and industry course this July which I’m super excited about, but it also means I will be out of education and into the real world which is kind of scary. I would like to take some time off to spend more time on myself but to also give me more time to spend sorting out some demos for my music and to be able to finish songs I have left for the time being. I will be trying to become an artist in the industry so I will be ramping up my presence on social media however raking up a following takes time so I will be pushing that as much as possible.
What winds me up?
Anyone got a younger sibling? I do and let me tell you, it is stressful! As much as I love my sister, she knows just how to push my buttons and get on my nerves, however, i can also do the same so we give and take it, a fair deal I’d say! I’m a fan of formula 1 and nothing winds me up more than seeing he who shall not be named (a certain Red Bull driver), be many, many, MANY seconds ahead of Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc or Lando Norris (basically minutes by the end of the race, smh). I’ve grown up with my dad watching the F1 races for many years and when I got into it, I finally understood why! This sport is incredible and deserves much more recognition than it gets, and although it can annoy me at times, the talent in the industry is impeccable. Here’s to hoping Ferrari, Mercedes or anyone other than Red Bull win the 2023 season!!
