This Easter has been super special. A once in your life time kind of holiday!!!

As you all know, i am a huge fan of seeing musicals on west end or even Broadway! Well, for the first 5 nights of this holiday, this girl hit the big city! Yes...I traveled back New York but this time with my family! As any tourist does upon entry to this crazy city, we drove to the hotel whilst admiring all of the buildings we could see! That night we met up with a friend and went for some dinner before hitting the hay ready for a day full of exploring! The first stop was the Empire State Building and boy was the view was spectacular! From here I saw Madison Square Garden, i can only dream of performing here one day!
That night me and my sister ventured to our first Broadway show together… Sweeney Todd! I never thought I’d see Gaten Mazaratto, Josh Groban and Jordan Fisher on the same stage, in the same show! I absolutely loved this musical and the red slush that was available made it even better! The cast are all extremely talented and if you can make it, I would encourage to you go and see it before it’s run on Broadway ends!
Over the next few days we went shopping on 5th Avenue, went up the Rockefeller Centre, visited the twin towers and memorial pools, took a private boat tour under Brooklyn bridge and to the Statue of Liberty and of course we saw Times Square and the famous red stairs!
During our trip, I was fortunate enough to see Wicked and Funny Girl. I have grown up watching Lea Michelle so when she graced us with her presence as Fanny Bryce in Funny Girl my heart dropped, I was starstruck and speechless. I loved this show that much, I booked to go and see her again and low and behold, Lea Michelle was Fanny Brice again! I couldn’t quite believe how lucky I had been and I really felt in that moment that things were looking up! When I went to see Wicked, I wasn’t 100% sure what to expected but boy was I blown away! This show was incredible! The cast, the pyrotechnics and the stage set was phenomenal! There was constantly something happening and they really kept you on your toes with all the twist and turns of the plot! The music and performing was amazing and you could really see the emotion behind each song and what it meant to that character! After our final show, the New York adventure sadly came to an end and we jetted over to Orlando for the remaining 9 nights!
I have always loved Orlando as I’m a big sum bum at heart and I love the heat, let alone the fact I LOVE rollercoasters! What made this holiday even more memorable, was the fact I celebrated my 21st birthday in Universal Studios! My parents had booked us on a VIP Tour of Universal Studios where we saw backstage areas and rode as many coasters as physically possible in one day! My favourite ride is by far the Velocicoaster, you bet i had my arms in the air the entire time! Some other rides we went on were:
Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure, Escape from Gringotts and The Forbidden Journey
Hollywood RipRide Rocket
The Hulk
Revenge of the Mummy
Transformers
I loved the entire day and my mum, sister and I went back to universal a couple days later where we repeated many of these rides! After a long day of back to back rides in the baking sun, me and my sister went for a much needed evening dip in the hotel adult only pool! Although a bit shallow, it was nice to have a chill and be cool for once!

For 2 days in a row we went to Disney World and we went into Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios! We had our family tradition of a battle in Buzz Lightyear where once again, i dominated them all and one another battle! My sister and I headed off to Space Mountain… I love this ride, but it could really do with a new track! I’ve never been in such a bumpier and harsh ride in my life, i thought we would fly off the track!? The time came where I could finally ride the newest ride… TRON Light-cycle! Although the ride was fast with an amazing concept for seating (almost like a motorbike), the ride itself was very short and doesn’t quite compare to the likes of Velocicoaster. However, I’m super glad that I got to experience this new ride!
We rode a few other rides across the parks including Hotel Tower of Terror, Autopia and Small World! I have always loved the magic of Disney and we even got to see an Easter parade! It was amazing to be back in the parks and to embrace the Disney magic! Throughout the holiday we shopped until we dropped in Ron John and we went exploring Cocoa Beach whilst getting in our fix of Mango Dragon and Pink drinks!!This amazing two week holiday quickly came to an end but I will always remember his holiday and I have created memories that will last a lifetime! I am very fortunate to get to travel and experience such amazing places
Once we landed back in the UK, I had a quick turn around as I was flying to Disneyland Paris with my best friend only two days later. This was a present from my parents to create more memories and to go to one of my favourite places on planet earth!
After unpacking my cases of hot weather clothes, i then repacked a bag suitable for Paris!
After having a slight nightmare with a taxi at Charles Degaulle airport where we were almost charged hundreds of euros each to get to the airport, whilst he shouted and drove on the motorway with no hands, we finally made it to the hotel where we had a quick drink and headed into the park!
In three nights we went on every ride possible! We ate in Pym Kitchen and the Marvel Hotel after seeing the incredible marvel lazer show! My favourite ride in Studios was Hotel Tower of Terror, Spider-Man, Flight Force and Crush’s Coaster! The RC racer was also a big favourite of mine! I also met Pooh, Tiger and Pluto during our character breakfast! This isn’t something I would normally do however, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
After running around the parks everyday and taking many many pictures, we managed to squeeze in some shopping in Marne-La-Vallée where we got some lovely muffins! Although I was extremely tired and was looking forward to sleeping in my own bed, I would do this a million times again. I loved every single second of my time and I owe it all to my parents and best friend, so to you, thank you for the most amazing experiences!
