🐝 Bee the Difference 🐝 

The Bee the Difference group and I travelled down to London to have a meeting at New Scotland Yard for a networking event with the Met Police. whilst we were there I sang a duet version of my original song 'Never Let Go'. all performed my original song 'Never Let Go'. We also attended a 'Survivors Form' and performed my song as a group and presented the project. The event was held in London to an audience of survivors of various terrorist attacks world wide and organisations/ charities who are trying to help make positive change.

Myself and some of the younger members of the project were specially invited to present the project at Oxford Universities 'Social Science's Impact' conference. Whilst at the event I performed a duet version of my song 'Never Let Go'.

When myself and the young people in the project got invited to perform and attend the first global congress for victims of terrorism at the United Nations headquarters in New York we were followed by ITV Grenada reports, who were filming a four part package with us. We were filmed throughout our trip documenting what we were doing there and who we went to meet with. The package went live on ITV a couple of weeks after we arrived home and to conclude the package myself, Cath Hill and LucyJarvis joined presenters Lucy Meacock & Rob Smith in Media city to do a live interview in the studio.

We were invited to the United Nations in New York to represent survivors of the Manchester Arena attack at the first global congress of victims of terrorism. We were also asked to provide a musical during the congress, of which we sang my original song 'Never Let Go' for the first time. Our attendance at the event was filmed by ITV Grenada Reports and we completed interviews whilst at the UN's headquarters.

To help promote the project, on launch day I completed several interviews. I started the day off by appearing on Sky News for a live interview and later completed a live radio interview with BBC Radio Manchester. IN the afternoon myself and some members of the project met at the ''Glade of Light' memorial in Manchester to complete interviews for a filmed segment on ITV to help promote the project.

In order to connect with audiences and gain a following on social media, we decided that we would film a short video that contained information about the project and why it is important. We filmed interviews and also recorded a song for the video. I created an arrangement of 'Listen' by Beyonce that we sang as a group that was later used as the music for the promo video.
